When it comes to your organization’s software, the dream solution enables a seamless flow of information between multiple systems. The goal is to have information pass from one department to the next without users having to open up a number of different solutions to complete the process – what a headache!
Over the years, there have been a variety of tools for integrating Dynamics CRM and Dynamics ERP with one another that have attempted to make that dream a reality. While they all posessed Pros, they also came with Cons - no solution seems to be capable of achieving everything users need in terms if integration. Until now.
With the release of the new Dynamics CRM 2016 and Dynamics NAV 2016, Microsoft has introduced Native Integration between the solutions. Without the need for a 3rd party or installed Microsoft tool, the new release has built-in capabilities that allow users to couple CRM records with Dynamics NAV records. Once coupled, they can be accessed, updated or synchorinized from within either solution.
By integrating Dynamics CRM entities, like contacts and accounts, with the customer and contact record types in Dynamics NAV, allows users to easily generate valuable information that will help make better business decisions. Dynamics CRM users—with appropriate security rights—will also have access to up-to-date financial information, while Dynamics NAV users can see opportunities and cases open for a specific customer.
Yeah, your job just got a whole lot easier, and we're buzzing with excitement that we can now offer this functionality to our customers.
While Altus' solutions already give users a consistent look and feel across systems and the ability to use a third-party or installed Microsoft tool to share data between the two, now data can be automatically synchorinized with native integration. Let's all breathe a collective sigh of relief.
