altus-dynamicsAltus Dynamics announces today that East Central Alberta Separate School Region District #16  (East Central Alberta District #16) has chosen to implement an enterprise resource planning application based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Altus Dynamics EDU. The solution is designed to promote a single repository of information that can save time from improved management reporting and analysis, deliver better decision making data, promote employee collaboration, lower training costs with familiar Microsoft tools and align technology with business objectives.

Altus Dynamics was selected following a comprehensive market evaluation process with input from employees at East Central Alberta District #16. This Alberta based school board expects the Altus Dynamics platform to reduce administration costs, improve budgeting, improve accountability for funds spent and improve services it provides to schools. Altus Dynamics EDU aims to provide a complete, flexible and integrated solution in the areas of financials, human resources, payroll, document management and school portals.

We believe in providing a positive place to teach, share and learn.  Implementing an enterprise wide solution covering all of our boards back office needs will give us the freedom  to focus on the students and the classroom and less time in inefficient processes.”, explained Iva Paulik, Secretary Treasurer at East Central Alberta District #16.  “The flexible nature of the Microsoft platform is also a considerable cost-saving benefit; it can allow our board to rapidly adapt its accounting and reporting processes in the face of regulatory and business change, with minimal investment in IT resources”, continues Iva.

Financial information is designed to be readily available to school staff through Altus Dynamics School Portals, empowering staff to gain access to budget reports and increasing insight into budget availability from purchasing regardless of their location. Most importantly, East Central Alberta Catholic  District #16 will have the capability to make informed decisions on all facets of the operations.

Altus Dynamics EDU is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV; a robust enterprise-wide management application that delivers decision making information from the integration of all core areas of a board:  Financial, HR and Payroll data.  We are excited about our growth in Alberta amongst the school boards.” said Colin Dickinson, VP Sales, Altus Dynamics.

With a streamlined implementation approach our customers can realize the value from our solutions and services quickly.  We are thrilled to be working with East Central Alberta Catholic and are enthusiastic about ensuring this board achieves true success from Altus Dynamics EDU”, shared Dean Carrotte, EDU Practice Lead.
