Happy Holidays from everyone at Altus Dynamics

Posted by Melissa Alvares on Dec 20, 2015 10:29:16 PM

Twas a week before Christmas, when all through the Altus Office,

Every employee was stirring, cuz holiday contests were amoung us,

Names of employees and customers were hung in trees with care,

In hopes that their decorating skills would win them free lunch fare.

The staff were nestled all snug in the boardroom town hall,

When Sinterklaas arrived with chocolate letters for all.

The winning tree was announced to be the one covered in candy,

Since the office has a big sweet tooth, it sure came in handy.

Then in the back room arose such a clatter,

We sprang from our seats to see what was the matter,

The Altus kids were bouncing up and down,

Two massive castles had erased any Saturday morning frown.

Add cookies! Add Pizza! Add mimosas for the parents!

Add a huge cake and a jolly Santa with a bag full of presents.

The Altus Kids party had those young and old,

enjoying a fun active day out of the cold.

Then the week before the big party everyone in the office was chattin'

Excited to see what fun things the culture committee had been busy planning.

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But 3 minature elves that would show up and then disappear.

The elf on the shelf contest pushed the limits of office fun,

the amount of interesting places they'd appear had only begun,

tangled in cords or dangling from the clock,

tanning in the oven, and in other places sure to shock.

By Friday the back room was ready for a party to begin,

Couches, tables, chairs and a cool DJ ready to spin.

Big buckets of ice were brimming with beer,

The much anticipated celebrity chef was finally here.

A 9-hole course of mini-putt had everyone concentrating hard,

While nibbling on beef crostini's that were perfectly charred.

There was a giant Connect Four and competitive Fooseball games,

And even a fun "guess what happened" icebreaker to remember names.

The dessert table pot luck was such a success,

that belts had to be loosened to reduce the stress.

The night ended with everyone cheering on our fellow peers,

remembering great moments that have happened throughout the years

As Altus gets ready for the Holiday season,

we think about our business and one important reason.

"Together for the greater good" is all about working with you.

Supporting you, our customers, in the incredible work that you do.

Sinterklaas Celebration: We celebrated the Dutch tradition of getting chocolate letters of the first letter of our names. You can view the tasty treats here.

Altus Kids Christmas Party: Altus kids and those that are kids at heart spent a fun Saturday at the office. Pizza, Cake, Gingerbread decorating, a visit from Santa and....yah...2 MASSIVE bouncy castles! Check out all the fun we had.

Elf on a Shelf Contest: The tagline for the contest was “pushing the limits of office fun,” and the limits were definitely pushed! Teams took photos of their elf around the office and photos were posted on Facebook for voting. The photo with the most "likes" wins - so help us decide the winner by logging in your vote here.

Annual Holiday Party: To celebrate the holiday season, we revamped our back office space and turned it into a Christmas wonderland, complete with trees, games, a bar, and even miniature golf! You can see the full album of photos here.

Tree Decorating Contest: A big shout out to Ikea for the awesome trees! Once divided into teams, our staff created three beautiful trees: A Candy TREEat, a business man, and an Altus client to employee tree. If you look closely at the photos of the party you can catch the contest trees.
