It is a great week for Altus Dynamics and our family of clients as we welcome the official opening of Microsoft’s new data centers in Canada, which will deliver Azure, Office 365, and Dynamics CRM Online to more of our Canadian organizations, helping them realize the benefits of Microsoft Cloud.
The cloud offers unprecedented solutions, cost savings, efficiency, productivity and reliability to organizations and government, and enables them to collaborate and excel in an increasingly mobile world. For our pubic sector customers that have data residency requirements, the Canadian Azure data center will enable them to leverage the power of the Cloud to drive their strategy forward.
"Microsoft is making these significant investments in Canada because we believe that Canadians can be the world leaders in innovation, and we're committed to helping our partners and their customers achieve that potential," says Janet Kennedy, President of Microsoft Canada. "Micosoft is now offering the most complete, locally-hosted cloud in Canada," she continues, "A cloud that's secure, enterprise-grade, hyper-scale, and provides data residency right here in Canada."
Bringing Microsoft Cloud onto Canadian soil finally addresses the data residency concerns that have been holding some of our Canadian clients back from leveraging cloud technologies. This announcement immediately opens up new opportunities for Altus Dynamics to work with our customers to help them take advantage of the cloud, something we are particularly well-positioned to support.
