Here at Altus we like to truly live the "work hard, play hard" cliche. That means this past month we set up an internal March Madness basketball tournament to test our skills and see just how hard we all could play.
Here's how it all added up:
One week, Five teams, Ten games, Seventeen players, Six injuries (whoops!), One hundred and fifty dollars added to our Altus Gives Back fund, and ONE March Madness Winner.
In a 3-on-3 double elimination-style tournament, our five teams faced off at lunch time and played games over the course of a week.
In the end, it was the Back Room Ballers (Kinley Graham, Melissa Alvares and Chris Carre) that emerged victorious. The wining combination of excellent communication, strategic passing, great shooting (and a player over 6 feet tall!) led them to play a perfect tournament - they didn't lose a single game!
A big CONGRATS to the Back Room Ballers and thanks to all our other teams for coming out to participate. We can't wait to see what the Altus Culture Committee has planned next!
